Look, the SS lightning bolts, the Iron Cross, the Blue Max, and the totenkaupf all looked cool to me as a kid learning about the 20th century. Even the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia was a cool design. But, even as a kid, I realized it's what those things symbolize that mattered.
