Haven't played StS2 yet but I already like this game much better than StS1, even though StS1 is very good itself. Sparrow Warfare will make you think a lot more about each play you make and will then reward you with some very fun synergies. It'll probably take a minute to click but it clicks GOOD.

Over the last month or so, Mar and I have been playing ~5 demos every Saturday with a glass of wine or two, and it is just so much fun... I know as a game developer I probably should not say this, but I'm not sure I need to play full games anymore, when there is so much delight in "next one!"

Sparrow Warfare is a delight! I’m not just saying that — I, um, actually can’t stop playing? I keep thinking I’m done for the night and then, well, y’know. The whole “one more run” thing. Anyway: it’s a clever and deep piece of game design, and it feels very much like its own thing. Check it out!

Char and Martin are: a)some of the best people you will ever meet, and b) great game makers. So there's at least two reasons for you to go get the demo of their game. If you need another one: c) it's a very, very good deckbuilder.

My uncle's name is Robert Zeppel-Sperl and his wicked painting career is one of the main reasons why I knew I can become who I want and don't have to follow any established paths.

This tile is based on a painting my uncle, a painter, gifted my mum, his sister, when I was born. I grew up with it hanging in my room and it's still my most cherished piece of art. That bird, with his miraculous stare, has puzzled and delighted me for my whole life.

Sparrow's demo's getting real!

The demo of Oaken Tower still has us absolutely in its grip, even attaining Grandmaster status on two separate Steam accounts isn't enough. Yes, this is a recommendation!
