I think I just figured out why the finale of #StrangerThings has struck such an emotional chord with me: I feel as though this show made me vicariously live out a version of childhood I wish I experienced. Of course, minus the Upside Down of it all.

What’s the first show that came to mind when you saw this?

Oh, and of course, every episode should have Joe and Gaten (it’ll alternate with each episode) do that “‘Dustin & Steve’ is taped in front of a live studio audience” voiceover. And throw some sort of “In Stereo Where Available” bug on there too. I was always fond of the CBS StereoSound logo.

Someone suggested that the next thing in the #StrangerThings universe should be a Dustin & Steve-centered 90s-style sitcom. Duffer Brothers, please do this. And please make it a true 90s sitcom. That means multi-cam. On videotape. In front of a live studio audience. Just make sure they sign NDAs.

Too far out

Like, I think it’s too far out. I pretty much consider “east side” to be contained only within DeKalb County, in an area bordered roughly by US 78 to the north and I-285 and I-20 to the south. Once you cross into Gwinnett or Rockdale, you’ve left “east side proper”.

Is Conyers considered “east side” or is that too far out?
