Georgia's self-proclaimed government, the Georgian Dream Party, is illegitimate. In a resolution, MEPs called on the international community to join the boycott of the self-proclaimed authorities, who they accuse of eroding the country’s democracy & cracking down on dissents.

Sanctions against the Georgian Dream regime pillars, including their economic tentacles, is due as soon as possible. It might be too late in a couple of months, considering the very rapidly consolidating dynamic of the dictatorship.

Day 43 and the protests are still going strong! There were some earlier futile attempts by the police to not let people close Rustaveli avenue.

Today, Rustaveli avenue was PACKED as never before. This was shortly before the president gave her speech and people were still streaming in anticipation. Seeing these scenes, the illegitimate government, panicked, started to ferry in special forces and water canons on the other side.

Looks like things will come to a head soon, as Georgias illegitimate prime minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, just threatened president Salome Zurabishvili with arrest after her term expires on december 29. She has vowed to stay in office until a legitimate government is elected through fair elections.
