A march in support of imprisoned teacher Nino Datashvili and imprisoned journalist Mzia Amaglobeli, both face from 4 to 7 years in jail.

Demo in Batumi now on 248th day of the protest.

Mzia Amaglobelis hearing started at 1pm and ended now. Verdict is postponed till 4 August. Hundreds greeted her at the court with high police mobilisation. People applauded. You can see her hand greeting to the supporters from the penitntentiary car.

Tomorrow at 13:00 the concluding hearing is expected for journalist Mzia Amaglobeli at Batumi City Court. She is facing up to seven years. This is a sketch I did of a couple of weeks ago of Mzia after media got banned from video and photo reporting of trials.

Culture sector employees and representatives organised march on 242nd day of protest in Tbilisi.

Today family members of imprisoned protesters distributed the second edition of the newspaper "letters from political prisoners to the Georgian citizens" on Eliava market in Tbilisi. The newspaper contains letters from family members as well.

On day 237 of the protests, the second issue of Cell 101—a prison newspaper by jailed 20-year-old Zviad Tsetskhladze—was presented. Titled Revolution, it features letters from imprisoned protesters and Zviad’s essay on how unity can be achieved.

234th day of protest in Tbilisi. Demonstration was held for boycotting upcoming local election in October.

"No to Russian elections", a demo is starting in Tbilisi against upcoming local election, calls for boycotting it as there is expectation it will be rigged, while eight opposition leaders are and will be in jail for the election.

Azerbaijani journalsit Afgan Sadygov at 227th day of protest in Tbilisi. Afgan was detained in August 2024 in Georgia facing extradition to Azerbaijan, but was released in April following the European Court decision. During his time in jail he spent 161 days on a hunger strike.

226-th day of protest in Tbilisi. "Letters of political prisoners to the citizens of Georgia", second edition of a newspaper was presented today. Parents helped to distribute them. They will continue visiting various regions to distribute it all over the country.

Women's march was held on 224th day of protest in Tbilisi. Protesters brought umbrellas and put down stickers with the names of political prisoners demanding their release. They also called for boycotting local elections.

Women are organising a march with umbrellas. They are gathering at Tustaveli metro and will go to the parliament. They demand freeing imprisoned protesters. "Freedom to regimes hostages", "boycott election", "solidarity makes us stronger", stickers say.

"Give a person an education and they will choose freedom," words are by Archil Museliantsi, a protester now facing 6 years in prison. With no family, protester Tsaro vowed to stand by him. Since his arrest on 30 November, she’s supported him and is helping him study for national exams behind bars.

Today is 222nd day of protest. A demonstration was announced on 19th July at 19:00 from Tbilisi State University to parliament called "No to Russian special operation" to demand snap parliamentary election.
