So here's what I don't understand when reviewing the hundreds of applications to our PhD programs: research mentors/PIs being asked to rate their trainees (aka RAs) on research and responding "not applicable"?

Over 800 applications to our PhD program this year. Current ratio of applications to coffees is 15:1. 🤣

For many years, I have had the honor of working with brilliant, dedicated, compassionate people on convention and continuing education for @ABCTNOW. Giving up the governance reins... for now...

My student's diversity F31 has been pulled from study section even though it's the SAME APPLICATION as regular F31s, normally reviewed together in the same panel. Throwing out all the applications from URMs while the ones from white/privileged students get to be reviewed is blatant discrimination.
