I've been watching White Collar. And on one hand. . .I forgot what it was like to have hour long episodes of something.

It is hard to enjoy things when the people you try to share them with just don't click the same way. It's harder when people don't even pay it any attention until the "right" culture individuals shed light on the same thing you championed. Being honest is being vulnerable, regardless of age.

I think some people are also scared to explore outside mainstream art because they might encounter something they fall in love with, but no one they know likes it. They don't want to be embarrassed or cringe or whatever by being the outsider.
