My book was just sent to press! It'll be available in print end of July. Focusing mostly on the topic of bureaucracy in Southeast Asia during the 20th c, the book develops an argument about how state-building can present headwinds for nation-building.

The last functional hospital in Gaza city has been bombed and patients are strewn on the streets.

Foreign students are crucial to American innovation, and thus our prosperity. They are watching this mass purge of people who *have committed no crimes*, only arbitrarily-defined thoughtcrime. They are revising their plans accordingly.
