I need the internet's help with something! This overlay well loved cat toy needs to be replaced. It's their favorite toy. I need to find a new one (or two) but I can't find this exact one anywhere. The tail had a crinkle bit inside it. I may have originally got it from Petco or Petsmart

Just because animals are often guided by instinct and occupied with their own behaviour and survival, people often mistake them for being unintelligent. A lot of them are quite clever, tool-use or otherwise. I think people don't want to know how smart animals are, and what they're capable of.

Whoever built the addition on our 🏠: 1 - entryway needs a light, where should we put it? 2 - around 11 feet up should do it 1 - can't be reached without an extension ladder? 2 - exactly! 1 - and the fixture? 2 - a big glass ball! Held on with tiny screws. Make changing the bulb a 2-handed job. 1 - 👍

@moonlitcoyote.bsky.social - can I belatedly pick your brain? I ordered cups (pic 1) and they arrived shattered. I tried glueing the bigger pieces together with crazy glue, which went reasonably okay. But a piece by the handles was always off. Would this product (pic 3) have been better to use?

As if I wasn't busy enough, I ordered a bed sheet on sale and received a handbag instead. Totally the same thing...

I've been inside of both a tornado and a volcano! This is a wide angle photo I shot from within the evacuated magma chamber of a volcano, roughly 400 ft below the surface, looking up toward the vent. If you look closely, you'll see the lift in the vent that brought me down! #Photography

New year, new attitude.

A bright, crisp sunrise over Lake Winnipeg this morning. Perfect conditions for a walk.

A short video of my Great Gray Owl friend keeping an eye on a passing raven showing how far they can turn their heads (270 degrees). You can also hear it clacking its bill as a defense response. *sorry for the shake and my breathing. This was handheld using my 600 mm lens on a windy day. #birds 🌿

With this big, round wings, great gray owls have a very slow flight. They can almost hover in place while they use their ears aided by their huge facial disc to pin-point their prey under the thick snow. #birds 🌿

Transfixed, could only watch as a raven flew over and distracted the owl before it gave me one more glare and flew off to go back to hunting. I watched from a distance with my long lens being sure not to disturb. A truly humbling experience even with all my years experience with owls. #birds 2/2

I had an incredible moment today. I found great gray owl hunting along the road. I'm always very careful to keep my distance and make sure the owl is not distracted by me. I was doing well until I stepped out of the car when it was deeper the woods. It suddenly landed right over my head. 1/2 #birds

've been wanting a print from an artist here in Canada for a long time but they were out of stock. Mow it's back bu the artist switched to a US supplier for prints and frames, purchases even ship from there. Shipping is a lot more than it used to be for that reason too. 😕
