In today's trying to buy a house news: big fan of the people who took our financial info not sending anything to the housing company over the course of a week. Housing company has nothing indicating we can buy. So the house we liked has gone.

Finding the beat of my current book after a bad few weeks. I expected to finish the first draft after maybe two months but it's been close to that already and I'm at almost 50k. Once I get the rights back to 3 books now homeless after the publisher closed, I can refocus properly.

Between needing to have a financial interview just to arrange viewing a house and the house selling before we interview or bastards buying 100% of a shared ownership house, finding anywhere to move to is kind of impossible.

Somebody offering 100% of the price on a shared ownership house isn't really in the spirit of a scheme aimed at people who can't afford to buy outright.
