Boyfriend and I watched a 2 hour intro video to battletech lore and he kept saying "oh that's interesting" and was clearly engaged. I think the propaganda is working, it's getting to him.

One thing MWO captures that I feel no other battletech game does is how having a mech that is literally physically smaller than other mechs gives you a big boost in survivability. An ai can't really maneuver a small light mech in the same way a player can, and it makes some light mechs a menace
