Also, you're allowed to complain all you want if you vote. The more you show up to vote, the more you can rage about things being terrible because you did the minimum necessary to prevent it. Complaining is the Greatest American Pasttime since baseball. Do you really want to miss out on that?

Houston: early voting runs today through Friday in the primary runoff elections. I know you don't want to go vote again. But you should and here's why: the faster Harris County uses up its boring voting stickers, the sooner it can get good new ones (or at least this is my theory)

I say it again and again: Because we don’t learn the real history of this country, we do not understand what this country is capable of. After 1870, 22 Black men served in Congress. By 1901, because of racist SCOTUS rulings, electoral coups and election cheating and violence, there were none.
