Okay, maybe some good news. @melodyschreiber.com has just informed me that HHS said that ACIP’s vote today *does* constitute a recommendation. This is important because it *should* mean that in every state, people should be able to get COVID19 vaccines without a prescription.

The ACIP vote was tied 6-6 for requiring everyone to get a prescription for the COVID19 vaccine. The chair broke the tie by voting NO. Prescriptions will NOT be required.

In case you’re wondering, it’s barely fall & our children’s hospital is already almost always full with kids boarding in the ER. And the pediatric workforce is stretched thin. Our system does not have the capacity to care for the influx of vaccine preventable diseases that is coming.

It bugs me when people say that RFK Jr. and the members of ACIP aren’t “serious people”. They are DEADLY serious about taking vaccines away from the people of the United States, and they have the power to do so.

This is the biggest attack on free speech since the McCarthy era but it also has significantly less popular consensus behind it than the second Red Scare. It's being done on behalf of a minority faction led by the most unpopular president in modern history. Organizing against this can win.
