A lot of discussion about AI misses this. The algorithms aren't *neutral* - they're created and operated by people and corporations with agendas, and those operators will choose their bottom line over your success and wellbeing 10/10 times.

Noem is deploying a paramilitary government agency to, in her own words, liberate a city from the duly-elected lawful governor and mayor of that city. This is literally an illegal coup and impeachment is NOT sufficient. She must be arrested and removed from office.

It's hard to know what to say about this level of obvious, naked ghoulishness. "The company was not sufficiently anti-consumer enough to make the profit we expect"..."there's too much scrutiny for us to be properly evil"... Capitalism is eating itself and all of us alive...

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison. It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

Marco Rubio just made the argument, bold faced, not a mistake an intentional statement, that at any time the US can revoke your visa and then you are instantly here illegally and they can arrest you, deport you, torture you, all without any due process. That means the United States is simply unsafe

Even if you vote in a representative you believe in, Republicans will do everything in their power to make sure your voice can't be heard. There's no reasonable rationale for denying representatives this perfectly reasonable access.
