It would be one thing if the policy behind the desired result of the ballot measure was actually exciting or a worthwhile investment. It's not- it's just a blank check for ODOT to keep building roads.

I got a chance to ride Honda's Fastport E-quad earlier this year and was impressed by how comfortable and easy it felt to pilot. Light devices like these have the potential to revolutionize delivery logistics (and improve safety!) for communities and campuses with even mild density.

I cannot overstate how important it is to engage with this process and have your voice heard. While it may feel like these decisions have already been made and there's little any one individual could do to change course, having your feedback recorded in this process is SO important.

If the transportation funding bill is repealed - which looks likely, given the number of signatures the state Republicans have submitted - there will be more road failures, with fewer state resources to respond, and Oregon's communities and local businesses will be the ones that suffer for it.
