#WindowsOnWednesday Late 17th century brick mullion window with rusticated voussoirs at Cawood Grange, Cawood.

Puritan Chapel Bramhope: A rare example of a chapel built during the Commonwealth Period (1645-1660). The chapel was built by Robert Dyneley in 1649. After the restoration of the Monarchy the chapel became part of the Parish of Otley. The building has been added to and restored.

A blue plaque for the rather quirky "Ye Oldest Chymist Shoppe in England" at Market Place, Knaresborough, N. Yorks. The first floor is now a tearoom. The building is timber framed with a brick facade & was Grade 2 listed in 1952.

The Lord Nelson Inn at Luddenden near Halifax made from rendered stone with a stone slate roof. It has '1634 GCP' carved on the door which suggests it was originally a private house of Gregory Patchett. Originally known as the Newhouse it became the White Swan pub around 1745. /1

Many of the buildings we record are of a more modest nature but now and again we take on the challenge of a larger, higher status, building! Here are some of the grander houses we have recorded over the years: Ingleby Manor, Knedlington Old Hall, Well Hall, and Hammerton Hall.
