First and only? Can’t be such a stickler as to ignore the PIVOTAL trial. PIVOTAL trial effect estimate on all-cause mortality HR 0.84 (95% CI 0.71 to 1) I do think expecting anything to improve all-cause mortality in ESRD is probably unwise.

I learned that around 3 million military connected kids- largely children of veterans who have left the service are dependent on Medicaid. This breaks my heart both at the threat to their healthcare access and the fact that we clearly need to do more to help veterans make this transition

Great talk! His argument to treat the immunologic disease not the CKD particularly early in the course is very appealing We need to test it in an RCT! The big trials typically have pts on some/max RAASI as inclusion/run-in Great that we can start thinking differently!
