I remember when people use to shame you into not watching anime. Those same people now no longer go to movies, & just scroll A.I. generated murder mysteries endlessly. Their lives are an unending Faustian Nightmare.

We're back home from Motor City Comic Con, highlight of our weekend was hanging with our friend @easterlyart.com and almost being dragged into karaoke at a Japanese restaurant (yes I know I should have used "zu" instead of "su" don't @ me lol)

Thank you! It used to not be my strongsuit since I was so used to digital painting but after doing more sequential stuff, I kinda had to force myself to get better at it, lol. I'm not where I'd like to be but I'm feeling more confident as an inker for sure.

I need to update this thing. Have a doodle I did a few years ago that I quite like of my fursona V. This was probably from around 2016 when I was still figuring out their design. Yes, I have a fursona... we notice and we don't judge.

Modern bad anime sucks, but not in a way that's fun or cool to laugh at. With old anime you would get hilarious errors when they ran out of money, or the plots would be insane & make no sense. Now it's just like: I guess we're doin "guy stabs a goblin & levels up again" huh?

Not even just school dances but literally any sort of kid-centered function period. I remember WAY too many birthday parties at the local skating rink that involved dancing to said songs.

Archiving is a selfless act, often carried out by people who care too much, for people who care too little. I know this is a basic take but you have to do something because it makes you happy, not because you expect anything in return. Cool people do cool things because it's fun

Reminder there are 100s of free anime on Youtube & the internet archive, & all you need to do is look them up. This makes people who have to click two things EXTREMELY angry.

I just want to say how grateful I am to have so many good people in my life. If you have friends/family that are truly making your life better just by being in it, let them know. Because chances are, they need to hear it, and/or let you know it's mutual.

Also we went to see Kraftwerk a couple weeks ago in Detroit - I did my own Man Machine style cosplay using some stuff from the thrift store. I thought I looked pretty good.

Hey Bluesky - it's been a minute! Trying to do better about posting here more often. Here's a Batman sketch I did to prepare for a commission. Not bad for someone who before this literally NEVER drew Batman.

You're not going to be able to draw everything perfectly in your comic, ur gonna have weird looking cars or buildings, or hands- And i want you to know that's fine Readers spend seconds per panel- as long as things are clear narratively, keep going! Dont get stuck on making every panel a masterpiece

I understand that ChatGPT is down and fortunately this is not a problem for me as I have spent considerable time developing a local language model that I am able to run autonomously, fueled by Coke Zero and snacks
