I wanted a voice assistant on Linux so (with Claude) I made DeskCrab: github.com/TheDiscordia... It uses 2 local AIs Whisper, and Piper to transcribe and output TTS. It can also display images and markdown if render-md is installed. It uses Claude LLM stuffs. Can also be called from CLI.

It's a bug, if you have a global key set, but also login it messes with things. Solution is basically: `unset CLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKEN` Docs and tooling improvements would go a long way here :).

Yet here we are 2 months later and I'm buying Claude Max 5x. See you in another 2 months when I get 20x I guess.

FWIW I have a Samsung TV and, even though TV UIs are generally arse, it's easily one of the shittiest user experiences on the market, within Teams territory. So, even if Samsung weren't in business with bigots, there'd still be good reason to avoid their shite OS.
