Pokémon Masters' New Year's 2026 event kicks off in a few hours. It stars Sygna Suit Ball Guy & Hisuian Electrode and Lana (NY 2026) & Shiny Dondozo. Ball Guy was previously captured for threatening to set off explosions across the game's island.

I appreciate the DLC’s decision to have side quests following up on NPCs encountered in the base game. It makes it feel like a proper extension to the base story—and that Lumiose is progressing—by fleshing out & cementing our connection to this specific city and its inhabitants.
