I remember when the Labour govt did that one off payment and they also excluded beneficiaries and I thought that was very very wrong then too. We should help the most vulnerable no questions asked. This is the approach I take to to mutual aid as well. People need help. Help people. The end.

I spent 6 weeks on the unemployment benefit in 2010 and I know what it’s like. And now I make a nice salary but I will always stand up for beneficiaries first. I’m tired of the ‘working people’ propaganda we aren’t better just luckier for the most part. I think what the government is doing is cruel.
