Trump has turned the Department of Justice into his own personal vendetta machine. And Pam Bondi was happy to go along for the ride. We've witnessed the most egregious politicization of the DOJ in recent memory. And I lived through the Nixon years.

Trump only hired Pamela Jo Bondi because when she was Florida's AG, she took a bribe from him to drop an investigation into Trump University. So he knew she was bad at her job and corrupt. If he fires her now, it will be because she hasn't been corrupt enough. She didn't shred enough Epstein files.

Trump should have addressed the nation on February 28th when he started this war of choice for Israel. Instead, he waited until April Fools day to string together a series of Truth Social posts and call it a speech. How appropriate.

It’s really very simple: Donald Trump is a really bad, stupid person, who’s surrounded himself with bad, stupid people, and together they are doing really bad, stupid things. It’s really very simple. But for America & the entire world, it’s also really dangerous & destructive.

Trump just delivered a flat, low-energy speech that felt more like a tired rerun than a commander-in-chief addressing the nation. No urgency. No strength. No command of the moment—just recycled talking points and hollow swagger. This isn’t leadership. It’s a man running out of gas in real time.
