The deadline for approving a fair congressional map is Oct. 31. If that deadline is missed, the map riggers can approve one with only Republican votes. Citizens with binoculars descended on the statehouse in search of #FairMaps. They found none.

The constitutional deadline for #FairMaps in OH is Oct. 31. Still no maps for public review. Rep. Brian Stewart confirmed the secrecy is intentional: “We’re not going to just show all of our notes in public,” he said. Does he know the Ohio Constitution REQUIRES transparent & fair mapmaking?
