I'm sure it wasn't the plan initially, but
@possibleworlds.bsky.social
launching Realis the same day as the launch of the first manned moon mission in over 50 years feels like cosmically-perfect cross-promo. 2026 is the Year of the Moon(s).

Just submitted my first WIP project to The Meat Grinder 2.0! It's my 200X road trip game, 1,000 Miles from Home - a Lasers & Feelings hack using real maps/locations and a timer to simulate sitting in the car as your characters for lengths of drive time. Hoping to playtest in the coming weeks!

As a lover of games like Primal Quest, I'm really interested in checking this one out. This is an underutilized and underserved TTRPG subgenre - Be a weird caveman! Do weird shit!

Coming in just a few days, join me for Orbital Blues Month 2026! I'm launching a jazz-fueled, planet-hopping missing person adventure called "Jupiter in Eb Minor" (read "E Flat" as in the musical term). Hope to see you there!

I got to play this with Games on Demand at GenCon a few years back, and it rocked. I had never heard of it and had no idea the Bakers were involved. Since then, I've heard so many folks talk about how much they love it and how it inspired their own designs. Another semi-hidden banger.

There's something so insidious to me about how 5e books like this feed into and rely on content consumption culture. Everything must be reference, nothing too original, so as to act as both a reward for those who have consumed and as a call for those who have not to consume more - and right away.

Look, we talk a lot about how modern food would kill a Victorian child, but I genuinely think a lot of modern folks would die if they ate a honeyed date. They are so good - a humankind classic from the EARLY years.

: a poignant photo by Paul Koudounaris of a beloved pet's tombstone. Despite popular belief, the cat's name was not Dewey. This was the surname of the cat's family. "'He was only a cat,' but he was human enough to be a great comfort in hours of loneliness and pain."

I'm running some games at a local convention next month. I'm already planning to run Mothership, but what else should I be considering? It's a general nerd con so most folks will only know 5e, if any TTRPGs at all! What's a game you would have wanted an early (and free) chance to play?
