There is no need to celebrate Kirk. He was a victim of gun violence, which is a serious public health problem in America. But Kirk wasn’t working to make this country better in any way. He was eroding it with his dark money operation. And he was a fascist.

Kirk was a racist who thought black people shouldn’t be pilots. He thought women should be subservient to men. He hated MLK and the Civil Rights Act. He didn’t care about political violence against Paul Pelosi and Democrats. All his own words. You can deplore the shooting without honoring the man.

For those praising Charlie Kirk, ask them if they agree with Kirk when he said the Civil Rights Act was a huge mistake, MLK was an awful person, Palestine doesn't exist, women's place is under their husband, and that the white supremacist "replacement theory" is real. I'd love to hear the answers.
