I couldn’t be more proud of my city city, Minneapolis, and the people. As a Mexican-American w/ a dark complexion, the last few months have been incredibly challenging emotionally. I’ve been made to feel less than by our federal government. And, people who look like me have been cruelly mistreated.

Once again proving ❤️ LOVE ❤️ is much stronger than hate.

The memorial ride then passed the site of Renee Good’s murder… Cyclist rode past, chanting, ringing bells, and raising fists in the air while onlookers clapped, and held signs in solidarity. #Minneapolis #FuckIce #IceOut

The memorial ride rode past the site where #AlexPretti was murdered by ICE agents a week ago. Community was clapping, thanking, encouraging, and high-fiving the tens of thousands of proud #Minneapolis cyclists that rode by…many would walk their bike past his memorial, or carry it above their head.

Hundreds more people just marched up to join. Some bonfires going. Copious handwarmers being passed out. Chanting, "no justice, no peace!"

Last time ICE murdered someone in the street (~2 weeks ago) they spent the rest of day trying to kidnap people in the rest of the city, & pepper sprayed/tear-gassed a highschool. Keep an eye on your own block, yr own neighborhood, yr own people. It's still early in the day and they're everywhere.

A windchill of around -30F didn’t stop what organizers say was 50,000 from marching through Minneapolis in one of, if not the largest, march in Minnesota history. Protesters demand accountability in the killing of Renee Good and removal of the federal agents that have upended daily life in MN.
