So many great shows preserved from late May and early June - don’t miss 5/31 and 6/1/22 Athens, where a Covid-sick Cavs was replaced by a drum machine dressed in a Cavs shirt. These unique sets are so much fun, among my favorites I’ve heard.

Fun fact about Lithuania 3 - it’s the only time 4th Colour has been played without Crumbling Castle. Lithuania N2 is my favorite show of EU 2025. Red hot from the gate with extra-heady takes on Antarctica (fav one), HT, Ice V, and by far the 🐐 Daily Blues. Then a sick Nathan with the Flamethrower Outro debut, some fiery Petro, and a rare standalone CC. What potion was in that Jimi Hendrix machine?

Been a year already since Gizz kicked off their Lithuania run. The prison walls, pink soup, and Evel Knievel himself brought out their best. Night 1 was loaded, featuring all-time versions of Iron Lung, Sad Pilot, and Work This Time, plus the Nathan debut of Slow Jam 1 and a ripping HOP closer.

Front range friends-HIGHLY recommend catching Robert Lester Folsom at Globe Hall tonight. He killed in Foco last night, he sounds great, his band rips, his songs are brilliant. He’s a true ray of sunshine and his music is magic that was almost lost to “real life.” Don’t miss a chance to see him.

The Silver Cord debuted May 22, 2024 with a sick version pushing half an hour, but this is just one highlight of an entirely stacked show. Just take a peek at that set list. (Apparently the sound was very poor in person, but I think the tapes sound pretty good.)

10 May 2012: five songs from a venue literally called “Small Club” including the first known Sea Of Trees and Sam Cherry. Sound is pretty blown out, but how cool to have a document of a show this early on, with video and complete songs.

I saw hundreds of these in bloom today. The world is going to keep trying in spite of us.
