Today marks nine years (haha nice) since they played Nonagon in full, with a little River and Hot Water thrown in, at the Cabaret Vert festival in France, and we've got pro video and audio of the whole thing. Fuck!!

Five years ago today Eric Moore announced his departure from KGLW Nothing but respect for Eric and what he accomplished with the band. Yet, the agile and expansive sounds of contemporary Gizz would have been much harder to accomplish with two drummers. All eras are cherished.

It also must be noted that, though no recordings are known to exist, 8/23/14 in Sydney contained the first known performances of beloved live staples Hot Water and Slow Jam 1.

8/23/24 gave us the, uh, infamous Detroit acoustic show. The boys may or may not have gotten a bit too soused, a few songs may or may not be on the verge of collapsing, but the messy silliness of it all is glorious. This show has its haters - I'm not one of them. tapes.kglw.net/2024-08-23
