Gunvolt 3's D-Nizer mode is still one of my favorite 2d action games, and it's not particularly close. I've still never beaten it, but I'm grinding it again. I can get to the midpoint where you fight ZedΩ but I fall apart after that in the second half.

Not the sequel I wanted, but it absolutely paved the way for AC6 to refine a lot of the choices they made here. To me, it felt like the designers ran away from AC4fA's granularity and complexity in service of appealing to a more mainstream audience, and I felt it lost a little charm in that way.

There was a new Playstation Blog post talking about the #MarvelTokon playable demo at EVO, and they showed off the character select screen for the build. Extrapolating that setup and moving stuff around a little bit, I could say there's a chance we're looking at about 35 characters in the roster.

I'm a little disappointed with Mecha Break, but I'm spoiled by having my ideal mecha game already be made.. Armored Core is an impossible bar to clear for most games I think. Daemon X Machina came close but that was probably only because Armored Core: for Answer devs worked on it lmao
