Nice to see my first tiny Oak Bush-cricket nymphs and Common Earwig wiglets yesterday in a wood in a very rural part of South Shrops. Cricket vanishingly unlikely to be M. meridionale in this location.

Got a bit of an earwig project going at the mo, incl rearing Lesser Earwigs. Seems to be going well: here are 21 wiglets from eggs laid on April 4th - 18 4th (= final) instars & 3 3rd instars. Expecting them to moult to adulthood imminently.
