I'd definitely have guessed that the Eagle was a fair bit larger and the X-Wing a little smaller. The real surprise is the Viper, which I always imagined as being more comparable to an X-Wing. And the Thunderfighter too. Only shows how little attention I pay, I suppose!

Saw the first episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. It was an ass dragger. They could have told the whole plot in 45 minutes. They took 75. And the amount of money they wasted on pointless action scenes, special effects and sets they're only using once? Better spent elsewhere. Just not good.
