Sometimes you have to put a little love into what is essentially a piece of scatter terrain for some stompy robots. Model is a 3D print by The Lazy Forger.

WIP vehicle bay from tnts.games I need to decal it as the next step after that will be doing a lighting effect down from the bar across in front of the hatch. The piece works quite well with #battletech minis it seems, as well as 38mm stuff👍

soimetimes the best way we can learn about our selves is to play with ourselves. We can find out what stimulates us and what excites us. Its important though when you learn these things to decide how you want to share and communicate them because life is too short for boring boardgaming.

I played my first game of #VoidFighter today, doing the solo intro mission. T1 I moved up M trying a Target Lock, intending to fire a torpedo at the nearest mine…failed! So I just go to guns…9 versus 7 for a clean hit and the mine is destroyed. I’ve destroyed one mine and it’s only turn one…

Today’s game of #battletech #alphastrike 260 points of my son’s Draconis Combine vs. my FWL. Dracs: Banzai, Tai-sho 8S, Ha-Otoko 2, Warhammer 7K(skill 2~3) FWL: Perseus, Yeoman, 2x Blizkrieg😄 (all skill 0 as I had to match his points!). A battle to the death!

Voidfighter is out in the US! Hopefully people's pre-orders show up today. Hopefully its on shelves in finer game stores. It's kind of anti-climatic when you can't watch the sales yourself on a drivethrurpg sales report. If you are not the pre-ordering kind, you could use Bookshop instead of Amazon.

We’ve had a wonderful summer holiday but all good things… …so we’re on our way back to Tokyo.

Some photos from our visit to @officialvindolandatrust yesterday. An amazing site not far from Hadrian’s Wall. The highlight was definitely the preserved wooden tablets with everyday letters from people almost two thousand years ago. We loved the one about the beer shortage.😄 #hadrianswall
