As expected, the fatigue caused by my COVID booster was over by dinner time yesterday.

It looks like the side-effects of my COVID booster are going to be the same as before… Some soreness in my arm, and fatigue that gives me an excuse to skip my gym workout… 🙂

Writing… I completed my rewrite of that chapter. I’ll wait a couple of days before I take another pass at it. At least I’ve taken care of the infodumps. I think I did. Maybe I did. Not sure. I’ll see.

Writing… I pared that flashback scene to half its original length. It wasn’t easy, throwing out bits that weren’t essential. (“But I wanna keep that sentence in! Waugh!!!”) I think it helps with the overall flow of the chapter while still providing the necessary background.

Season 2 of “Monarch” had way too much plot getting in the way of the story, as Joe Bob Briggs would say.

Writing... I looked up what one would call a 'love nest' in Spanish and it apparently is 'nido de amor', which is 'nid d'amour' in French.

That rose bush has been in our backyard since before we moved here 26 years ago, and it’s still going at it.
