The July/August issue of “Asimov’s” has the story “The Aftermath” by William Preston, a nice homage to Ray Bradbury’s “Night Meeting”.

I finished del Toro’s “Frankenstein”. Structurally uneven. The best parts (no pun intended) are when the focus is on the Creature, but the bulk of the story is about its asshole Creator. Oh well…
