Writing… Those two chapters need to be completely rewritten. I know what the beginning has to be. I know what the outcome has to be. I have some notions of what has to happen between those two points, but nothing firm yet.

Writing… Something bothered me in yesterday’s rewriting of that chapter’s re-rewriting so I did some rewriting this morning.

I’ll refrain from saying ill words about that dead. I’ll be thinking them though.

Writing… I have fulfilled today’s goals… Now off to pump iron (or tin at best) at the gym…

Writing… I had to backtrack to a chapter I thought I was done with. I finally did my first pass at the new rewrite of the old rewrite. I like it. Tomorrow, the second pass…

I just finished rewatching “1776”. That final scene feels more ominous than ever.

Writing… Drat. I just realized that the events I had planned for the rewriting of the next chapters need a different outcome otherwise the story will have to have consequences I don’t want it to have.

Writing… Once I figured out what the events should be in the rewrite’s next chapters, I knew I had to go back to one of the earlier chapters and change some of the dialog. I finally scribbled down the first draft of those changes.

Writing… The novel features a planet rich in all kinds of minerals, which are also refined there. I’m thinking of calling that outfit Kedalion’s Forge because Hephaestus is too obvious.

Writing... I've rewritten those first seven chapters. Better, I hope. I think I did that. I'll set it all aside for now then, after some time, I'll reread them all over again to make sure the story's improvements weren't delusional, then I'll move on to the rest of the novel.

Writing… I turned the prologue into Chapters 1 and 2. I then did a bit of rewriting of that new Chapter 2. I then reread old Chapter 3, which is now Chapter 5, and it doesn’t look like it’ll need much rewriting.
