This is Sadie. She was finally reunited with her human, astronaut Christina Koch, after her mom’s voyage around the moon took her the furthest any human has ever been from their dog. She can't wait to hear all about the universe. 14/10 (IG: astro_christina)

The Internet Roadtrip is now trying to cross Labrador. A 100-foot gap in Street View coverage almost forced them to turn back, but as they approached the break, someone got a friend in Labrador City to drive to the spot IRL and take and upload a panoramic photo to fix it.

After a weeklong trek across central Nova Scotia, the crowd-controlled Internet Roadtrip has reached the Halifax area, and for some reason the first thing they voted to do was to visit IKEA

Google and Meta search both report that Cape Breton Island has its own time zone 12 minutes ahead of mainland Nova Scotia time because they are both drawing that information from a Beaverton article I wrote in 2024

Internet Roadtrip is my favorite thing on the internet right now—it’s basically Twitch Plays Google Street View. They started in Boston, spent several weeks on a quest to cross the Canadian border, and are now exploring New Brunswick.

The Earth doesn’t “go around the Sun” the Earth goes in a straight line through an area of spacetime that bends around the Sun and I think that’s neat.

Really appreciated this conversation with Matt Galloway of the CBC. We got to talk about tuberculosis, the implications of defunding USAID, and the future of the disease in a world where human health is not being prioritized.
