This is in fact a big reason why many people won’t let it go. They still see value in HP, they still enjoy it and think it’s good, and therefore will tell themselves that ignoring the harm caused is okay and justified. You have to learn to let things go even if it’s hard. Not just when it’s easy.

May have to DNF my current book. Its prose is too much like... "YA voice"? Is that a thing? for my own personal preference. And the rhythm of the narrative feels too disjointed and clumsy. It's not bad and I WANTED to like it (it has a bunch of awards noms!) but I just don't think it's For Me.
