Wild that Sony bought Bluepoint Games in 2021 AFTER Demon's Souls, and is now shutting them down with zero new games put out since. They canceled a live service-game they were working on earlier this year. That failed live-service push from Sony continues to have major consequences.

Pour one out for Y3 Remastered. Yakuza 3 is flawed for sure but there's so much heart in that original game - and the work we were able to do in making Y3R the dad game it always deserved to be is something I will forever be proud of 🥹 (it's also not-so-secretly one of my favorites in the series)

I haven't finished Yakuza Kiwami 3 so I'm hesitant to give a "final opinion" but also I think it says a lot I haven't been feeling the motivation to keep playing. At its best its a low quality effort remake of a personal favorite from a series that has a high bar for remakes.
