Hey everyone! I've had a great run since 2020, being able to help with so many different events within the community. I've gotten to a point where life has gotten so busy, and the scene has gotten even busier. I believe my time has come to start moving away from online events to focus on life 🧵

When this happened, there was so much panic behind the scenes that never saw the public eye. Many TOs no longer felt safe running their events, knowing that there was intentional harm done to try and attack the SSC, that does all of its volunteer work to help in keeping the scene safer, and TOs.

TOs have every right to DQ you whenever they see it appropriate. I thought the community was upset how all the TOs just followed what Splat Safety did, so you all just wanted TOs to be able to do it on the fly. This is that alternative, absolute authority within their realms. I can’t stand it.

I scrolled for a bit to see discussions of comp Splatoon & here is my perspective: Once you take the element of fun out, there really is no other incentive to play. Just have fun. Make content, play the game. Doesn’t matter. Stop worrying about what isn’t happening & focus on what is happening.
