Feeling 🥳 First year of my TT position and my lab. We are already making progress. Two of my students secured grants for their research, and 7 of my students' presentations were accepted to the Acoustical Society of America. One graduate student's paper was published earlier this year.

I'm working on programming tools for linguists. I wrote some Python code that downloads YouTube videos, extracts the audio and converts it into a wav file. I have some other tools in the works. Hopefully someone finds this useful. DM me if you have ideas for linguistic data wrangling projects.
