was just looking at the supplements for a high-profile, large-scale replication and saw a series of 'the effect was positive in these three samples and negative (reversed) in this one sample, so the evidence was mostly consistent across samples'. oh the things we bury in the online supplements!!

Should become the mainstream approach😃 The conclusions of "successful" replications are usually presented with an overly definitive tone, even when the modifications were made haphazardly as you said. Doing it systematically could also help with (or dissuade from) meta-analyses...

Halloween menu: Red curry with red kuru squash, tofu, spinach, and lots of roasted cashew. Cilantro-lime jasmine rice. Cucumber salad. The squash in the curry is cooked to pillowy perfection. The whole thing is so smooth, creamy, comforting, and flavorful. I should make more curry.

This is a funny thing about the Turkish language. Typically it's an act of endearment for a mom to call her child "annem" (my mom) or "annecim/anneciğim" (my dearest mom) or an aunt to call their niece "my auntie", etc. It conveys love, humility, respect and care for the younger one.
