I really appreciate efforts like this to nail down the conceptual landscape in a way that makes critique possible. A lot of technology we interact with is ideologically shackled... brought market at any social cost. We need precise understanding to offer a meaningful alternative.

I see now that people are trying to argue against AI-hype by using neuro-hype. You can’t fight hype with hype !

There are a lot more people than one might think who refuse this tech but are shamed by users. Once the space for their opinions and voices opens up, the scene will change. The notion that there is but one future, and you can either submit to it or perish, has been one of the biggest hazards to critical thinking in our time.
