We are more than a year and a half into the process for temporary bike lanes. Even if the process for a permanent solution started today, it would still take years for any tangible change to be felt on the ground by the people this is affecting the most.

I don't see this as anything but an intentional pre-election move. The community has requested a permanent solution for 15+ years. The pilot was already delayed from 2025 to 2026 and now this is going to upend the pilot entirely. They're doing everything they can to do NOTHING.
