It can't be underestimated how important this is. Like 'SIM', this scandal has been uncovered by survivors themselves, not professionals. Anyone concerned about patient safety, the merging of the private sector & the state, misuse of technology, research ethics & human rights needs to read this.

BREAKING: An NHS Trust has been forced to admit the potential misuse of surveillance technology Oxevision (now “LIO”) in psychiatric inpatient bedrooms at the Lampard Inquiry this week. NSUN is calling on all trusts to suspend use of Oxevision immediately.

Their website is not designed for patients or their families to get info, Laura Couzens claims, which is bizarre for a product seemingly so co designed and advantageous to patients who are inpatient. Why wouldn't you want them to give informed consent? #StopOxevision
