Went to see 28 Years Later - The Bone Temple tonight and even though I was skeptical of a sequel / trilogy, there was not a dull moment in the movie and I am looking forward to the next one. The tension was almost too much at times. Ralph Fiennes is amazing in it!

I teach "Mapping, Space, and Power" starting tomorrow. This 1942 LAT map came into my head from my grad school days and I spent hours reviving an old hard drive to find it. I can't believe it isn't *everywhere* in lit about understanding the power of maps but it is surprisingly hard to find online.

This weekend I updated my Final Fantasy themed Spellslinger deck. When FF was announced, I really wanted to play a Sorceress themed deck with Edea as Commander but I was a bit disappointed in the Edea of the main set being mono-blue. With the holiday release, I finally have a better Edea!

We have continued our winter holiday tradition of doing a playthrough of The Quarry. Even on our fourth playthrough we still get really different outcomes. There are so many different possibilities in that game! Much more complex than Until Dawn, yet I almost never hear people mention it...
