In France I can turn up at the recycling centre with a trailer and the staff will help me triage everything. In Cardiff if I turn up in my VW campervan or with a trailer I am turned away. So itās easier and cheaper to fly-tip. Change policy and itāll stop. Simples!

In France this includes trade waste - all waste is accepted free of charge and they concentrate on reducing land fill tax (paid by the council) by reusing and recycling. Since France started this policy 20+ years ago all the local fly-tipping sites have disappeared.
