This unsuccessful attempt by BAE to prevent a lawful strike will have severely damaged the goodwill it has with its workforce. BAE is a £multi-billion company making record profits. It now needs to come back to the negotiating table with an acceptable offer for striking workers in its Air division.

Mid and South Essex #NHS Foundation Trust CQC report damning. The findings of the CQC report are shocking but unsurprising. unitetheunion's workplace reps at the trust are far too used to looking after dedicated staff whose concerns about a toxic management culture and patient care are dismissed.

🚨 TfGM Strikes escalate @unitetheunion.bsky.social does not accept pay cuts dressed up as increases, which is exactly what TfGM is offering its staff. These workers have Unite’s total support in their fight for a reasonable pay offer.

Arriva is a hugely wealthy company and can well afford to put forward a reasonable pay offer. Arriva’s Leicestershire workers have their union’s total support in fighting for a fair pay rise.

The Lindsey oil refinery and the fuel it produces and skills it supports are vital to the UK’s energy security. The government needs to show workers whose side it is on by furloughing Lindsey’s workforce until a buyer that keeps the refinery fully operational is in place.  

There is no issue more critical for our broken economy than sky-high energy costs. It’s time to close the chapter on deregulated market madness. That’s the foundation we need for a genuine Industrial Strategy.

Today at the Lindsey oil refinery I told a workers and their families, communities and supporters that Labour's net zero plan is failing workers. It amounts to a jobless transition. The govt cannot simply wring its hands, they are in power and need to show workers whose side they are on.

It is no surprise that more and more agency workers are refusing to cross the picket lines due to the toxic culture within the waste department. This is the same council that thinks it is acceptable to fire and rehire bin workers, imposing pay cuts of up to £8,000.
