There's a weird argument I see from people currently trying to normalize underage girls which goes: "oh, you think that people suddenly become adults on their 18th birthday?" And like, no. It's true of every creative space I've been in -- writing, video-making, game dev -- that when new people ask for advice, they're really after the secret silver bullet to make good things easily. But the secret to anything creative is you show up every day and do the work, even when it's hard.

Authors are constantly telling people how they made it! It's just that it takes a LOT of hard work and *patience* but people like this didn't wanna hear that advice. They think there's some kind of secret code or magic words that'll let you skip all that.

Netflix has recently added the film "Game Night" starring Rachel McAdams and Jason Bateman from 2018. This movie is a hidden gem and if you ever need something to watch, this is guaranteed fun. It may even be a top ten film for me.
