"gen ai was only used for one image" "we only used gen ai in concept art" "i only tried chatgpt one time" any & all instances of using gen ai is causing irreparable damage to our planet & our communities. every single tiny bit of usage is harmful. there is no excuse whatsoever. full stop.

any use of gen ai images is inexcusable , maybe at the beginning when a ton of people didn't realize how bad it was, but that window has shut, theres plenty of information on why its unethical to use that technology now.

“You’ll be left behind without gen ai” is a marketing campaign maybe for middle class yt ppl. There’s no way they’re trying to sell that to someone like me whose lived a life where my knowledge, skill, experience don’t matter and my labor was exploited even before gen ai. There is no “ahead” for me.
