Obviously with Sonic being my earliest fandom, other fandoms from my childhood were Dragon Ball (this one is huge), Pokemon and Legend of Zelda. I used to love flipping thru the manuals of Pokemon and the N64 Zelda games a lot for the artwork.

Closing the thread now as a couple folks got it! But a lot of people were guessing things that I am inspired by! Just not my first big fandom. It was Sanic, I was born in 1990 and it hit at the right time for me to grow up with it.

Interesting question. I feel like my first fandom is obvious to me, but I wonder what people think it would be.

It's always hard to maintain a sense of self confidence when I create anything. Almost the entire process I'm doubting it and fearing if something will turn out extremely bad. I've been trying lately to turn that into fuel for becoming stronger at it. But it's hard haha...I try to be easy on myself.

Sometimes I do miss the ritual of logging into Destiny 2 to play with friends - but then I remember how crappy that game makes me feel to even touch and all that goes away. Unless something major happens I don't even consider myself a fan of Bungie as a studio because I don't recognize it anymore.

I've been putting off some gamemaker things because I've been waiting for GMRT 0.20 to release. I will continue learning and building with the new runtime going forward, but I am just anticipating the release of it for now.

Ok hopefully by the end of the year I'll find a dan flashes shirt that is exactly my style. It will be my ultimate reward once I lose enough weight at the gym and sticking to it.
