I feel like I'm a very silly/happy mood rn and it has me slightly concerned because of the inevitable coming down from that... but also whatever I am here for it.

I know almost nothing about racing, but I got excited at the gym when I saw some dude have a max verstappen shirt. I turned to lyn and was like holy fuck I gotta show you the silvagunner songs with this car racing dudes theme song. Anyway I introduced her to the meme and we had a good laugh.

I remember as a kid having the sonic screensaver on my comp from my copy of the 3&K pc collection, and just loving all the art in it. I still think that was a really fun and cool addition to the package

Like I miss this kind of stuff haha. Classic Sonic just was peak to me idk what to tell you! I say this as a fan who also loves the current stuff too, but I love this era of sonic so much.

The Japanese box art for sonic spinball never needed to go so hard, but I'm glad it did. I miss this era of Sonic art and design!

I'm playing rhapsody 3 now in the evenings (these games are surprisingly short haha) and I dunno if I like it as much as rhapsody 2, which I think so far was the best of the 3 I've played. After this it's onto the one I'm most excited to get to - La Pucelle Tactics.

Finally tomorrow I will be back to do my commission queue and work on that sub goal of the little Mario clone game, and Mimic Story.

One of the best things about destiny right now is not playing destiny. Every time I see something new happen with the game it bums me out. Game is packed to the brim with fomo and greedy money shop stuff and an incredibly bad grind that doesn't respect your time, and just seems so phoned in now.

Hoyo is making some animal crossing ass game and I'm mildly interested, but then I think about the inevitable gacha elements that I'm sure will plague the game and it tempers my expectations a lot.

Why did gyms invent leg day this should be a crime against me

While I like all the Pokémon gens I've said it before but my top 3 are easily 5,2 and 1 no contest. 5 gives me the same feeling I had when I first played gen1 , 2 is just a continuation of all of what I like about gen 1 but improved, and 1 is my entry point and I love it for its simplicity.

Gen5 Pokémon is my fave gen so hey I won.

Had a great visit with my mom and stepdad today, and the other day. Its been refreshing since I live a few provinces away from most of my family, so the times I get to see them are very minimal. Been a couple years almost and it was a nice time :)

Yakuza Kiwami 3 has me excited - I was spoiled by Kiwami 1 and 2 so when I went to go play the regular version of 3...I didn't get very far haha. Can't wait to play that when it comes out!
