For real. I've seen some people on here just adamant in their belief that JKR's anti-trans activism is super well known, but most people genuinely do not know about it (at a minimum, they're not aware of the extent of it).

After joining previous protest days in my current town and nearby cities, on the latest No Kings Day I swung by my parents’ house to pick up my mother, and we joined the protest in the town they raised me in. Once again, there were nudism-related sessions at this year’s World Social Science Association annual conference, accessible online to people affiliated with AANR or TNSF. I approached it expecting to feel somewhat alienated, as I’ve been let down by AANR club culture. It was uncomfortable at first.

I’d argue we’ve seen the movement fade, if it ever were a movement in my lifetime. We can become a movement (again) indeed by standing up for what’s right, especially for bodily autonomy for all.

Nudism needs non-nudist allies. Today I thanked those allies for supporting me and our cause. If we find common cause with the mainstream and with other marginalized people maybe that’s a way to greater freedom and understanding for all. ☮️❤️🍑
