I always cite my one nude beach experience as a kid at 12 and later camping trips, but I like the question if anything led up to the breakthrough moments. There were earlier signs that I naturally liked the feeling, and maybe curiosity built from little things like missing out on a group skinny dip.

I like how this shifts from the question “Is this legal?” Instead, “Is it considerate? How do I conduct myself?” There were awkward glances when I’ve been “caught” with a friend, and even on an organized nude hike in a state where it is technically legal.
