Happy May Day! Celebrated on 1 May every year, May Day is a festival of ancient origins that marks the beginning of summer. In Oxford, celebrations begin at 6am with the Choir of Magdalen College singing from the tower, which you can see here in this watercolour by William Turner of Oxford.
