Bill Cassidy’s actions around snake oil peddler Casey Means’ nomination for Surgeon General will be revealing. He has done nothing to stop the public health catastrophe he launched when he not only voted to confirm RFK Jr. but also convinced others to do so. All eyes are on you, Cassidy.

I see that the United States' peculiar brand of Christian Nationalism includes judging the poor for needing SNAP benefits (judging is something Jesus said *not to* do) but not helping the poor with SNAP benefits (helping the poor is something Jesus told them *to* do).

No Kings protests were one of the few times Trump, MAGA, and right-wing media were reacting to something the opposition did, rather than the opposition reacting to whatever they do. Adopt a principle from war strategy: generally better to be taking action and forcing opponents to react. Good point.

The corrupt DOJ isn’t only manufacturing prosecutions against Trump’s political enemies, creating the government weaponization and “lawfare” Republicans pretended was happening before when it objectively wasn’t, they’re charging people with crimes Trump himself literally did at much greater scale.
